About

Andres Spinetti.

I'm Andres Spinetti, a fly and sight-fishing guide on the Lower Laguna Madre. I've spent over 14 years learning these shallow flats, studying fish behavior, tides, weather, and seasonal patterns to consistently put anglers in position for memorable days on the water.

My approach to guiding is built around education as much as catching fish. Whether it's your first time on the bow or you're an experienced angler looking to refine your skills, I enjoy explaining why fish are where they are, how conditions influence their behavior, and what separates a good cast from the right cast. My goal is for every client to leave as a better angler than when they stepped aboard.

Beyond guiding, I'm the author of LAGUNA, a 288-page photography book showcasing the beauty and fishery of the Lower Laguna Madre, and the host of The Laguna Podcast, where I share conversations and insights from some of the most respected voices in the saltwater fishing world.

Through photography, filmmaking, and the podcast, my mission is to document, preserve, and share the stories that make this fishery so special.
